    Brauche dringend Hilfe...


    Please excuse me for writing in English this time, it would take me the rest of the week to put the following together in German.


    Just looked through the line-up for this year's Craiceann and I'm severely tempted :-)
    I've even made arrangements with my boss to let me off one week earlier to be able to attend the 2011 Edition.
    But, I have a small problem ;-(

    I have some severe after effects from disease. No tragedy, but this means that I get tired and need to rest and sleep a bit earlier than other people and most days a bit in the middle of the day.


    For that reason I need to find a place to stay that is not exactly on top of the local bar or next door to a place where people have a party through the night. I would like to find a B&B i bit out of the way. "No drinking, no smoking, no pool, no pets and no swearing" would all be quite OK with me :-)

    The Craiceann website mentions a lot of different places to stay but but could one of you experienced participants point me one or a few B&B-options that would fit in the category "nice and quiet" or maybe even "friendly but a bit boring"?


    I might then try to make a reservation very soon and leave the In-places with all the action and within crawling home-from-the-pub-distance to the rest of you :-)

    Lars, probably not too far from the Aras Eanna as well, so you can take a rest during the lunch break?

    This cold Canadian boy would certainly love to attend with a line up of teachers like that. I will never in my lifetime see that kind of caliber of talent in one spot even come close to Nova Scotia.


    Maybe a lottery win or the planets line up in a straight line....maybe we will see!

    ...da habe ich letztes Jahr gewohnt...vielleicht ja dieses Jahr auch wieder, mal gucken. ;)

    So, nu aber: Nach einigen Jahren des Beinahe-Hinschaffens bin ich nun Ende Juni endlich mit von der Partie! :D :D :D
    Die Vorfreude auf den Unterricht, die Insel, das Craiceann-Feeling und die bekannten und noch unbekannten Forumsnasen ist riesig! Jetzt muss das Ganze nur noch ordentlich durchgeplant werden, damit ich z.B. Zeit habe, den Workshop gemütlich ausklingen zu lassen (nicht so wie beim MON-Weekend 2010 :( :P). Ich weiss, solche Versprechen sind in diesem Forum gefährlich (:P), aber: Beim Ausklingen oder schon vorher geht selbstverständlich eine Runde für die vom Dachauer Workshop her bekannten Leute auf mich! ;) Freu mich, euch wiederzusehen!

    Fein, das freut mich. Da ist es wirklich schön. Ich werde diesmal allerdings direkt über unserem Lieblingspub wohnen. :) Da hatte ich im letzten Jahr schon versucht ein Zimmer zu kriegen, aber das hatte seinerzeit nicht geklappt. Aber wirkliche Entfernungen gibt es auf Inisheer ohnehin nicht.

    Servus zusammen,



    nachdem wir gestern die Flüge gebucht haben und während Craiceann in IRL sind, werden wir bzw. ich auf jeden Fall für ein/zwei Nächte auf die Insel kommen. Unterricht gibt´s dieses Jahr leider nicht, da stehen einfach momentan andere Dinge an. Und ich freu´mich schon !! :D
