Renowned Bodhrán player & tutor Svend Kjeldsen & Moving Cloud release new CD !
"Welcome: Who are you?"
The new album (GO 0608 ) contains 13 exciting new tracks, - some of them rare, traditional songs and ballads based on field-recordings of the Irish gypsies, - the "Pavees". The members of Moving Cloud contribute with seven instrumental-pieces and a percussive composition, while former band members have written three original tunes.
"Welcome: Who are you ?" is of serious interest to any person with a passion for the bodhrán.
The album presents a new type of sound-picture in which comtemporary bodhrán and bodhrán bass create new percussive textures consisting of two proper tuned, intertwined bodhrán-voices played by Svend Kjeldsen and Dónal Lunny.
